If a family changes its mind
A family can remove a page at any time. Try it here. Nothing real is being deleted.
The archive will not open until these steps work and a contact address is published here.
- The next of kin, or the person named on the page, sends a request.
- The page is hidden as soon as the request is received, before any checks.
- We confirm who is asking.
- The page, its photographs and its backups are deleted, and the family gets confirmation.
- Only the public mission record stays, with no link to the person.
Rules the archive will open with
- Nothing is published until the next of kin agrees in writing.
- Pages start as Family only. A family has to choose to make one public.
- The family can change the setting at any time.
- Public pages show no addresses, NRIC numbers, cause of death or cremation records.
